2 person house with hot tub and beautiful views. A kitchen with a stovetop, fridge, freezer and microwave, 1 bedroom with a double bed, sofa bed in living room and bathroom. We provide cots and chairs for the youngest children if requested. We are located on Torfastaðaheiði only 5 minutes drive from Reykholt where you can find Mika Restaurant, Friðheimar, Sundlaug and Bjarnabúð. All pots are heated with untouched hot water directly from the ground. There is no reception on site and guests will receive an email with check-in information. Any kind of partying, loudness or other disturbances is strictly forbidden and we have a shift in the area.

Location
The cabins are ideally located on top of a hill with a great 360 degree mountain range view on the Golden Circle route in the south of Iceland. A great place to stay and drive to interesting places in the south and west parts of Iceland. There is a 40 km drive to Selfoss town and 2 km from Reykholt village where you find a mini-market, gas station, Friðheimar Tomato farm and Mika restaurant.
Car rent
Rental car is needed when staying at Blue Cabins and during winter time (November – March) a 4×4 car is needed, SUV recommended.
